It was a headstand kind of morning. I am trying to get used to practicing primarily at home. It's an adjustment just like everything else. But I am grateful to still have this, the ability to keep moving, breathing, doing what I love. Here's to adapting...

Ever take a photo and think I can't wait to see how this pose looks a yr from now??? Have been trying different variations of wheel pose. This one although intense I actually don't mind, I know my body needs this.

Do you have a favorite stretch??? One of the reasons stretching is so important is because it helps you maintain flexibility and range of motion in your joints. Figure 4 is one of my favorites...Its used to mobilize the hip joint and stretch the hip muscles, also can prevent and relieve back pain...Feels so good...

This morning I really wanted to play around with handstands. They have certainly been a work in progress for me. Practicing without the wall was a big step, I relied on it for so long. Its funny because as a kid I remember walking around my room on my hands like it was no big deal, now a few second hold feels like an accomplishment. Nonetheless progress is progress and I'm excited to be back at it...

Happy Humpday...so far this week has been intense...just like this pose feels...its so hard not to compromise the integrity of this pose...my hips always want to shift back so keeping them over my knees always feels like a mission...my ego wants to keep going but this where I am at...being honest with myself and keeping an open heart carrying into the rest of this week...

Its not always easy to do the right thing...Life can be so twisted sometimes...Everday we make choices...Some easy, some hard...My New Year has started off with making alot of hard choices, but each choice has come from the heart...The path ahead is uncertain but I intend on making ever step along the way count....
