全東部米国剣道連盟 女子剣道セミナー・合同稽古会(男性・女性)

We have learned great kendo from the All Japan Selected Women’s 7 dan Kendo Champion, Yuki Ogata-sensei and had a wonderful time at the Seminar and the Joint Practice.
昨年、全日本女子選抜七段大会で優秀された、緒方有希先生より素晴らしい剣道の御指導を頂き、大変楽しい剣道セミナーと合同稽古会となりました。

2025 Japan Parade in Manhattan

ニューヨーク・ジャパンパレード参加

Kenshinkai members participated in the Japan Parade again this year. We performed a kendo demonstration on the red carpet, and our youth members showed great energy in front of the large audience.
剣心会メンバーは今年もジャパンパレードに参加し、多くの観衆を前に剣道を紹介しました。キッズメンバーが大きな声で元気よく剣道を披露してくれました！

Kenshinkai Kendo Performance on May 4, 2025!

We had a wonderful Kendo performance at our Children’s Day event! 🥋✨ Kendo is a traditional Japanese martial art that uses bamboo swords and protective armor. Their dojo, NY Kenshinkai, is a Kendo school based here in New York dedicated to teaching and preserving this art. 2025 Children’s Day Kendo Performance at Japan Village in Brooklyn – May 4, 2025

ブルックリンJapan Villageでの子供の日のイベント

Kenshinkai and its youth members showcased kendo to the audience. We also enjoyed the mochi pounding and helped with making and selling kashiwamochi, a traditional Japanese sweet.
剣心会とキッズメンバーがJapan Villageの子供の日のイベントで剣道を紹介しました。餅つきと柏餅作りもお手伝いしました。
It was a wonderful opportunity to show that family members can enjoy practicing kendo together.
剣道は家族で一緒に稽古出来ることを紹介できて、よい経験となりました。

2025年全米国剣道連盟主催ジュニアオープン剣道トーナメント
April 26-27, 2025 in Kirkland, WA
