And one more June workshop for you! Start your summer off with this soothing workshop with Sarah Platt-Finger. Marmas are pressure points that allow prana, the life force and power behind all physical and psychological processes, to flow through us.

Through correct knowledge and use of Marmas, our entire mental and physical energy can be shifted and redirected in a profound manner. Since the hands are an extension of the heart chakra, Marma therapy can help to elicit a sense of compassion, intimacy, and unconditional love. In this workshop, we will explore the methodology of self-marma, as developed by Yogiraj Alan Finger. The sequence will enable us to target specific marma points on our own bodies help to balance the fields of energy that govern us. Once the points have been released, we will open the fascia of the body through easeful asana including gentle stretching and restorative poses to soothe your mind and calm your nervous system. The session will end with a profound meditation to lead you to a state of love and healing. $40 EB / $50 Day of. Special Pricing for ISHTA Members + Acharya.

SUMMER THAI MASSAGE WORKSHOP with Susan Ingraham

Learn how to give and enjoy receiving a Thai massage sequence to open energy lines, release trapped energy, and generate fresh energy. You will learn simple yet deeply effective moves that you can practice on loved ones at home or incorporate into a professional modality. Great for yoga teachers to enhance hands-on in a group practice ormake your private sessions more luxurious. Practice will end with participants relaxing while Susan applies some thai massage techniques with warm and calming fragrance essential oils.

In this workshop, we will explore a handful of poses that we will build from the ground up focusing on the seven segments. Working on alignment, creating space for the breath and exploring modifications for the individual practitioner. Phil will encourage group involvement with questions and shared experiences. The second half of the workshop will be a well rounded ISHTA Yoga practice ending with a restorative pose and grounding techniques. All ages and levels are welcome!

🪷 SPOTS ARE FILLING QUICKLY! With space limited to just 15 participants, this retreat offers a rare chance for personal attention, energetic attunement, and direct access to teachings that cannot be shared in a regular weekly class. Alan and Sarah teach from a space of deep love, lineage, and lived experience—welcoming you into their home for this retreat, just as Alan experienced in his home growing up in South Africa. It is a return to the original way these teachings were passed down: intimate, personal, from “Guru to Shisha”.

🪷 Each day will begin with a morning asana and meditation practice, followed by nourishing Ayurvedic meals, lectures, and informal conversations by the pool. There will be time to absorb, rest, and integrate what you receive. Whether you are looking to deepen your spiritual practice, clear inner energetic stagnation, or reconnect with your highest Self, this retreat is a sacred doorway.
