Due to the university progressing to the yellow zone, we have been strongly advised against club meetings indoors of more than 10 people. With the strong urge to push extracurriculars virtual, the badminton club will be postponed for the next two weeks for everyone’s safety. Even with the 30 minute slots of 20 people, the eboard would have to interact with over 100 people, which isn’t the safest option right now.
This means there will be no practice tomorrow (9/20) and we will reconvene to see where the University’s covid levels are at in 2 weeks. We are sorry for the inconvenience and know how much everyone wants to play again, but we have to keep the health of our community first. If practices continue to be postponed we will work on getting either discounts or refunds if you already paid for the club dues.
