At Texas Soccer Legends, we believe player development should have a purpose. Every player is different — different strengths, different needs, different goals.

That’s why our process goes beyond individual training sessions:

Assess. Develop. Grow. Create opportunities.

We work to understand the player, build a clear development plan, track progress, and when the time is right, connect that development with opportunities beyond the training field — from competitive environments in the U.S. to international soccer experiences.

Our TXL After-School Soccer Program is officially underway! 🔥

First day, lots of energy, lots of smiles, lots of soccer… and definitely tons of orange. 🟠🟠🟠

After-school is where we want kids to play, learn, build confidence and fall in love with the game — all while developing the right technical foundations.

Great first day with this group. And we’re just getting started. 🚀⚽️

🟠 WITHOUT A CLEAR PLAN, PLAYERS JUST ACCUMULATE HOURS — NOT DEVELOPMENT.

Training more doesn’t automatically mean developing more.

A young player can train 5–6 times per week — club practices, private sessions, games, camps, clinics — and still struggle with the same weaknesses months later.

Why?

Because activity is not the same as development.

⚽ The club has its objectives.
🎯 Individual training targets specific needs.
🏟️ Games provide competition and exposure.
🔥 Camps create additional experiences.

But who is connecting everything?

At TXL, we believe player development needs direction, purpose and a measurable plan.

🔍 ASSESS the player
🎯 Identify 2–3 individual priorities
🗺️ Build a 90-Day Roadmap
⚽ Train specifically around those priorities
📊 Analyze performance in real games
🔄 Reassess, adjust and repeat

The question isn’t:

❌ “How much is my child training?”

It’s:

🟠 “WHAT EXACTLY ARE WE DEVELOPING?”

Felix is a great example of this process. His development is not about simply adding more sessions — it’s about connecting individual work, competition, international experiences, feedback and continuous evaluation into one direction.
