FOUR MOVE LOWER BODY/CORE STRENGTH circuit, with a side of full body😉 - oh the Stoked Ball seems so innocent and yet…inner thighs, deep core 🔥this is how we flow✨in true Stoked Method style, transitions matter and we progressivey layer movement to challenge and build muscular strength & muscular endurance. Let me explain (better yet, try the KSFITAPP and let me guide you - link in profile)…

Connecting movement in a flow like manner reinforces mind muscle connection, something that is imperative in order to see and feel the results of your work. One of the greatest gifts you can give your body is intentional, form focused movement. Programming, (exercise selection) progression of movement (and weight choice) matter. Seamlessly flowing from one exercise to another where the same focus muscle groups are challenged in varying ways creates next level strength - of mind & body. And as always in Stoked Method workouts, DEEP CORE work - ya know, the kind that evokes change - is omnipresent.

Move 1 - MEGA MOVE - I posted this as a reel a while back and promised I’d share the full circuit in time…so here we are - inner thighs, quads, glutes, core AND sneaky mobility - this move rocks - 10-12 reps (5-6 reps ES lunging)

Move 2 - layering on fine tuning quad/inner thigh focused work with The Stoked Ball (available in the shop on my website - link in profile) • keep heels lifted and press in on the ball , 15 reps then lift & lower heels, 15 reps (helps with ankle mobility ⭐️bonus balance work throughout!

Move 3 - walk out series - clearly a bit of full body flare here but also weaves in mobility - squeeze the ball throughout - DEEP CORE • 5 reps

Move 4 (Slides 4 & 5) - Stoked Ball side plank sweep series • whoa this one is tough, shoulders extension, shoulder stability with obvious oblique work • 6 reps on one side, then the other

BLOOMS & BODYWEIGHT for my fellow spring lovers🌸 - built this FULL BODY LOW IMPACT STRENGTH workout on the fly tonight and hit my flow state - save & do, or just take a move or two - breakdown⬇️
⭐️Moves 1-3 are circuit 1, moves 4-7 are circuit 2 (I honestly just got into a flow state and added the side plank sweep because it felt so good to open up after Moves 5 & 6. It’s def a lot on the wrists but that’s never an issue for me. You can always do “Wrist Mobility” in the Stoked Body Shop Category KSFITAPP prior to trying this workout 😀. In true Stoked Method/KSFITAPP style, flow from one move to the next - your own body weight is a beautiful tool✨
Circuit 1 (3 times through)
🔹Move 1 - walk out series - to warm-up, connect - 5 reps
🔹Move 2 - squat to low lunge - 10 each leg, stay low the entire time to increase TUT - time under tension
🔹Move 3 - dynamic runners lunge w/pull back - 6 ES

Circuit 2
🔹Move 4 - reverse lunge/SLDL - 10ES alternating
🔹Move 5 - crouching tiger push-up to dive bomb stealth push-up (obv my fav combo) 3-5 reps (one rep is both variations
🔹Move 6 - panther crawl - 2 steps forward, 2 steps back - 3-5 reps
🔹Move 7 - side plank sweep - 3-5 reps ES
⭐️BONUS MOVE 8 - gratitude for the beautiful blooms; nature is magical🌸

Train muscles, but also train movement patterns…

Life doesn’t happen in one direction - your workouts shouldn’t either. Listen, isolating muscle groups when strength training is fabulous and important. BUT, it’s equally important, when thinking in terms of sustainable strength and longevity, to train movement patterns which make you more efficient and less prone to injury in daily life. In addition, training in a functional manner helps prevent muscle imbalances and strengthens your neuromuscular system (improving balance & coordination). Once again, it’s not this or that, it’s this AND that.

Whatever program you follow, make sure it includes fundamental movement patterns - squat, hinge, lunge, push, pull, rotate, carry - for a strong, resilient, balanced body that moves WELL for LIFE. There are many ways to prep your body for movement and/or empty out your strength tank 👇👇

This particular series using the Stoked Sizzle Circle (sold in the shop on my website - link in profile) checks many boxes - to name a few:
•ankle mobility/foot strength
•balance/stability
•shoulder mobility
•quad, inner thigh,calves activation (glutes and hammy’s also come alive)
•body awareness
You may be amazed at how connected you feel to your body after 3 times through this series of three variations:
•sweeping heel lifts - squeeze the circle more as arms come overhead - 10-15reps
•iso-hold pressing in on the circle - 10-15 reps
•pulse & press in on the circle - 10-15 reps
