Fall Kids Jiu Jitsu starts September 9th.

Get your kids on the mats this fall. They’ll learn Jiu Jitsu, build confidence, get stronger, and learn how to defend themselves.

They’ll also learn how to fail — and realize it’s okay. They’ll challenge themselves, step outside their comfort zone, lose, get frustrated, try again, figure things out — and get better.

Those lessons go well beyond Jiu Jitsu.

Beginners are welcome. No experience necessary.

Clockwork Jiu Jitsu — Rockaway Chapter

The 2nd Annual Rockaway Hotel Rooftop Invitational was a huge success!

Thank you to the more than 300 people who came out and helped make the night so special. A huge thank-you to every competitor who stepped onto the mat, put it all on the line, and gave us an incredible night of matches.

We’re extremely grateful to The Rockaway Hotel for hosting us again this year, and to our event sponsors, Shoyoroll and St. James NYC, for their support.

Thank you to the academies that supported the event and gave their students the opportunity to compete: Unity, The Dojo, Soca Jiu Jitsu, Windsor Terrace Martial Arts, and Royal Jiu Jitsu.

Huge thanks to Danny Collins for providing the music, and to Jimmy Dowd for MC’ing and keeping the crowd engaged throughout the night.

Jiu Jitsu is about community, sharing knowledge, and bringing people together. Martial arts should build people up. We believe the mats should always be a place of opportunity.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this event possible. We’ll see you next year!

If you’ve ever wanted to try Jiu Jitsu but weren’t sure where to start, then this program is for you.

Our Beginner Boot Camp is a 4-week program designed specifically for complete beginners. You’ll learn the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment while building confidence, fitness, and practical self-defense skills.

Starts August 4th
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 7:00 PM
Clockwork Jiu Jitsu Rockaway Chapter
Includes a Gi (uniform) and belt
Registration opens July 1st at 8:00 AM.

We couldn’t be more proud of these young athletes for stepping onto the mats, challenging themselves, and putting their skills to the test. Competing takes courage, and every child who participated showed heart, determination, and great sportsmanship throughout the day.

Open to both kids and adults, this is your chance to step on the mats, test your skills, and gain real competition experience, all in a fun, supportive, high-energy environment.
