Sometimes we rush to the line, sometimes we make an endless celebration, sometimes we tie our shoe and sometimes we take out time…

What ever that might look like to you, the feeling before the ref says “Fence” can be indescribable🤍✨

Always remember what you’re training for… 🌮🍰

But let’s get real, what you put into your body is fuel🔥⛽️

Research shows that ultra processed foods increase calorie intake and body fat compared with whole, nutrient dense foods, even when calories and macros are matched 🥩🐠

Whole foods rich in protein, fiber, and micronutrients help stabilize blood sugar, support muscle repair, and improve energy regulation🥗🥑🥦

Diets high in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats are directly linked to lower inflammation, better metabolic health, and reduced risk of chronic disease. Even for athletes and active people, prioritizing quality meals supports recovery and performance, while occasional treats are just that, occasional🍎💪

Balance isn’t boring, it’s the key to success 🔑

Tell me I’m wrong or support me if you’re going through something similar 😩🤣

🚨ATHLETES WARM UP🚨

A proper warm up isn’t just a ritual, it’s physiology in action. Research consistently shows that dynamic warm ups increase muscle temperature, which enhances nerve conduction velocity, rate of force development, and muscle elasticity🤸🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️

As muscle temperature rises, power output and contraction speed improve while musculotendinous stiffness decreases, meaning you can produce more force, more efficiently. Simply put: warmer muscles contract faster and perform better💪🏼

Beyond performance, warm ups are one of your first lines of defense against injury. Systematic reviews show that structured warm up programs, especially those including dynamic movement, activation, and neuromuscular control, significantly reduce sports related injuries. Increasing blood flow, activating stabilizers, and rehearsing movement patterns primes the nervous system and improves joint coordination before load is applied🧬

If you care about strength, speed, or longevity in the game, earn your intensity. Prepare the system before you stress the system✨

I'm not going to lie there's days when I absolutely love my flow during training sessions and there's others where I don't even want to hear anything related to it.

Life is just like that, the highs are highs and the lows can be extremely low.

During practice, my coach told me that this is the place where we can comfortably lose 99% of the touches. Those four walls where I sweat at every single day are the place to try everything I feel uncomfortable doing.

Doing so can cause me to have a terrible practice, therefore go home frustrated and at times even cry. But I wake up every day and do it all over again. I am in love with it. This process that's helped me become who I am today.

I love that human. She's a great human but she's still learning and growing!✨💕

We all can go through really difficult times in life and I get it allow yourself to feel, but get up and keep moving. Do not stay on the ground!

We have much to conquer!

Whether you're just starting your fitness journey or you're an athlete, it is important that you take care of your muscles pre training and during active recovery days.

I take about 10 mins to do so before training and it makes me feel 1000x better 🥰 Some of the benefits are increase range of motion, increase flexibility, reduce muscle tension and prevents injuries🤸🏻‍♀️🤺🏃🏻‍♀️

Let's get rolling!! 🤣⚙️
