Past teams CSLS has sent have used these competitions as great networking events with peers and top professionals, as well as great ways to get experience in a niche area of sports law. Members have also gotten internships and jobs from connections made at these competitions.

Congratulations to Dean Rosenberg and Jacob Lepler who represented Cardozo School of Law and CSLS this weekend at the Inaugural Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law Baseball Filing Day Competition. After advancing to the second day of competition as the number 1 seed, they finished as Semifinalists. The competition "is a simulated exercise intended to mimic negotiations between player agents and club executives." Thanks to our hosts at  for organizing the event!
