The Mighty Beast of the Land
In 2016, the American Bison was declared the National Mammal of the U.S.

It can weigh up to 2,000 pounds and still run at 35 mph!

For thousands of years, bison have roamed the Great Plains and mountains of North America.

It’s not just powerful — bison play a key role in maintaining healthy grasslands and ecosystems.

Why it's special:
Bison once faced extinction, but with conservation efforts, America brought them back. It’s a powerful example of how nature can be restored when humans truly care.

The Soaring Symbol of Freedom
Just like the peacock is India's pride, the Bald Eagle is the symbol of freedom, strength, and courage in the United States.

With sharp eyes and massive wings, it rules the skies.

Declared the national bird in 1782, the Bald Eagle has been a proud emblem of America ever since.

It can soar up to 10,000 feet high, making it a true king of the skies.

What’s even more beautiful? Bald Eagles mate for life – a symbol of loyalty and commitment!

Fun Fact: Despite the name, the Bald Eagle isn’t actually bald! Its white-feathered head just makes it look bald — that’s where it gets its name.
