DSRL proudly announces another awesome event. This time it is our 4th Annual Jason Johnson Memorial. This event will be held on June 27, 2022 with the server opening at 8pm EST for the warmup sessions and then onto the racing. 410 Winged Sprint Cars with open setups for 41 laps. Group Warmups, Qualifying, Heat Races, Consi's, Pole Dash, SPLIT FEATURE WITH OPEN RED FLAG. We will run the Pole Dash and the first 16 Laps of the feature in the WARMUP SESSSION and score and call cautions manually. The last 25 laps will be run in the FEATUER session with iRacing calling the cautions. This is the exact same way we have run this race for 3 previous years and it seems to work just fine so no fixing what aint broken. Jason Johnson Racing has donated the wing panels for the top 3 once again this year and we have some cash donations we will be using to do the payouts. No entry fee will be required. Thank you to all the sponsors who have stepped in to help with this event, Red's Tavern , Wegge & Casey, P.C., Scott King Designs, TimsSims Powered by IRacing & Edmond Trophy Co .
Registration will open beginning on June 13 and will be posted open with a reply to this thread that will have instructions on how to register and any particulars required to run in the event.

We are very happy to announce a new series starting in April here at DSRL. This has been in the works for a while with numerous individuals stepping up to chase sponsorships and procure prizes for the series. On Wednesday April 13th, 2022 a new chapter will begin to be written. Pro Late Models will take to the track weekly at the virtual Federated Auto Parts Raceway a.k.a. I55 Raceway in Pevely, MO. Local drivers and track regulars will join the Dirt Slingers Racing League pool of talent for 10 weeks of action on the tight quarters bullring. This series is already looking like a significant challenge for those who will be participating and is sure to become a premier series for the league. Local business's have stepped in to help promote and support the series with donations of prizes and cash for the drivers in the points championship at seasons end. Lucas-Smith Chrysler Center will be the main sponsor for the series, if you're in the area be sure to drop in and let them know you saw their name here. Wegge & Casey, P.C. is also on board as an associate sponsor of the series. The long time DSRL supporter has been waiting for the new I55 Raceway on iRacing to become reality and the opportunity to support a weekly series has finally arrived. Red's Tavern, a local business to the speedway has also joined the associate sponsor list for this season. They are hoping to stream the events weekly live inside the pub for race fans to enjoy. TimsSims Powered by IRacing is always a staple at DSRL with all series running under the banner and this one is no different as they have stepped into an associate sponsorship role with nightly Hard Charger awards. As always Thomas Brandon Gaming: School of Sim Racing will provide a baseline setup for drivers to use for the series. Edmond Trophy Co will provide championship hardware for the season. The Dirt Racing Network will cover all the live action each week providing excellent visual and commentary to enhance the overall experience.
