25th College Reunion 🙃
When you go to a place that holds so many memories, do you feel you are the same person as way back when? Or have you changed? 💓
The more that time passes, the more I see I’m who I’ve always been. 🙏🏼
“I write this on the Monday morning after my 25th college reunion at Skidmore College, and I am both tired and incredibly nourished, but specifically nourished in the places that don’t always get airtime or expression. 🙃
I’m reminded of how much we need, especially as we age, opportunities to reminisce, be silly, laugh, dance, and frankly, have a big old break from our responsibilities. Even the ones we love the most.”

It’s been a while since I’ve properly re-introduced myself here. ✨
I’m Randi, an author, mother, and facilitator of women’s group experiences.
I write and speak about:
growth
loss
emotional wellbeing
creativity
relationships
motherhood
identity
and what it means to live more honestly as a woman in this world. 💓
If you’re new here, welcome. And if you’ve been here awhile, thank you for growing alongside me. 🤍

If you’ve been feeling anxious, reactive, or just not like yourself… this is for you.👇🏼
The series Regulate on the In the Margins Substack broke down what’s actually happening in your nervous system, and what you can do about it. 🌾
We interviewed five insightful women who work in the worlds of therapy/women’s wellbeing/healing modalities/movement.
Thank you for your wisdom and generosity 🙏🏼
These are some of the most important takeaways.
The full recap (with tools + practices) is on In the Margins Substack (link in bio) 🥰

As I contemplated how women find wellness and peace, particularly concerning the nervous system, I knew I wanted Lucy’s words of wisdom. They come from deep within her. 💓

I’m learning, slowly but surely, to focus on the sweet and simple moments of each day:
☀️the warmth of the sun
🛋️a perfect work space
🤗hugs from my loved ones
📚a book I’m curling up with.
When my worries try to consume me (on the state of the world, the responsibilities I feel, the pain of old sad relationships), I come back to these simple, sweet things. It really helps. 🌾
As spring is trying to peak through, let the extra light remind you of the light that lives in you, a sweet simple light…. And let that light shine through. ✨
