⚡️Fury Athlete Spotlight Taeyang Thay ⚡️

About a year ago Taeyang joined Taekwondo Fury Institution as he’s starting to compete at a higher level. He already had a solid baseline from years of general Taekwondo training.

What he needed was specific sparring knowledge & how he can fine tune his current skill sets to maximise his chance of success in the modern game era.

Throughout our fight review process, we are able to pin point his strengths and weaknesses, and develop a general gamelan on how he should fight. As well as specific adjustments he needed to make depending on his opponent’s fighting style.

Throughout the past year, Taeyang has made massive improvements and gotten gold at the 2026 American Open West, taking silver at both U21 National Team Trials, and at the FISU America University Games.

And like I always said, it takes a village to create success for an athlete. And none of these would be possible without Pinnacle Martial Arts (Taeyang’s home school) for spending year developing Taeyang and allowing him to have the current skill sets to compete at a higher levels. I’m happy to be a small contributor to his journey
