We had a lovely Shoreline Cleanup last Saturday, and Open House on Sunday. Unfortunately, environmental concerns are once again in play this weekend.

🌱 Our Invasive Species Removal event, which was scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, July 18, is CANCELED due to air quality and storm concerns. 🚫

🛶 As of now, Open House for this Sunday, July 19, is STILL ON—but check here or our website for updates on Sunday morning. If poor air quality persists, we may have to cancel. 🚦

While city health authorities have said kayaking remains safe after the wastewater treatment failure in Yonkers, swimming is not, and because of the small chance that kayaking activities can become swimming activities, we’re choosing to cancel for the health and safety of our community. We hope to see you next Sunday, July 12.
