In all of our classes we encourage proper adjustments to the workouts based on the intended stimulus of the daily workout.
Coach will go through target times,reps & the general feel of the workout everyday before the workouts begins.
Adjustments can be made through reducing the load, reps, time or even changing the movement.
Our workout yesterday called for 20+ pull-ups per round, although many athletes can perform pull-ups, the goal was to meet the target rep count & if that stimulus wasn’t going to be met then an alternative movement like the ring row was a great option.
Changing the movement from pull-ups to ring row still meets the demands of the “pull” through a full range of motion but you are able to dictate how tough that pull is through adjusting your positioning of your feet. Hence, the closer your feet are to the wall the tougher that pull will become.
Meeting the stimulus of the workout is key and making adjustments is the cool thing to do! 😎👏💪

Today was a fun, heavy front squat day!
Heavy single…then heavy double…then heavy triple. And then capped off with a 400 meter walking lunge!
Legs are gonna be toast tomorrow :)
