MHRC provides an opportunity for anyone to train like an athlete with scientifically-based programs led by New York’s elite running, triathlon and fitness coaches.

On October 7th @ 4:30PM, Coach Drew set out to do the unthinkable — 24 hours on the tread. He just completed that challenge on Tuesday October 8th, a new mile high studio record for time on the tread (previously set by none other than Drew).

Coach Drew’s known for his fun challenges & pushing himself, but this was more than the miles - it was an incredible display of mental toughness, grit, and determination. A new studio record and an unforgettable reminder of what’s possible when you refuse to quit.

With this feat, Drew is raising money for Volunteer FDIP to support their counseling and community development programs in Nepal—helping sustain the important work they do for those in need of psychological care and social support. You can support here: https://gofund.me/f727c3560

We’re taking the treadmill to new heights - allllll the way up.

INTRODUCING: INCLINE. Our new Incline walking + Weighted Vest class combines hill walking with added resistance of a weighted vest to build lower-body strength, cardiovascular endurance, and hiking-style stamina through sustained incline walking intervals - all with low impact. Resistance has never felt so good, and spoiler alert: the view from the top feels amazing.

Our favorite challenge is back - and we’re stronger than ever before.

All next week, come into any class and benchmark your mile time. You bring the speed; we’ll bring the good vibes.

And we’ve got a bonus this year - the SPEED CHALLENGE: come train with us an avg of 2x a week across the next 8 weeks (16 classes total), retest your mile time during our R2 trials, and you’ll get a prize on us. Yes, that’s a prize in addition to the speed you’ll build during those 8 weeks 😉

Our longest tenured coach since 2018, Coach Raj has been instrumental in growing our community and sharing his love for running with so many of you making us .

Throughout the years, he has also run a marathon in every state, including the world majors and Boston 10+ times, and recently ventured into ultra trail running, completing and often placing in several 100K+ races.

Thank you Coach Raj for your many contributions to MHRC. We look forward to future guest appearances and spreading the MHRC love in your next adventure! 💙
