To our Henry Street Settlement and Boys & Girls Republic community, please join us in a moment of loving remembrance of one of BGR’s best and brightest stars, Jesse Isaiah Parrilla, taken from our world and our hearts way too young. Today would have been his 24th birthday. May his extraordinary talent, humility, sportsmanship, fierce competitiveness, and his love for the game of basketball always set the bar for our athletes….and may his kindness, ambition, loyalty, generosity, commitment, and love always define his personal legacy.
