~Reaching~

For most of my life, like a lot of us, I’ve been stuck in the future… stuck on who I would be, what I would create, how much I would matter, and to who. This left me in a constant state of longing, for more, for better, for bigger. Always in a rush to get to those big great things as soon as possible. So that I could maybe one day be noticed, maybe even appreciated for a contribution I’d made to the world. Talk about pressure…

This year I decided I want to enjoy life now and live in a way that will get me to those big dreams of mine without that obsession with the “finish line”. I decided to be nice to myself. To trust that if I were to do more of the small things I tell myself I want to do everyday, that I would surely arrive in a place more than fitting of my aspirations. I decided to loosen the grip, start accepting, and stop reaching.

Hope that made some sort of sense lol. I’m just out here makin’ word arrangements.

~Bevs & a Bite… A City Night~

I love just playing some solid tunes and walking the city streets at night! I usually just shoot whatever catches my eye. Did any of these shots catch yours?

~A Night In Lower Manhattan~

A few of my favorite shots from Friday night. Decided that night that I’d just grab the camera and a pair of earphones and dance my way around lower Manhattan, stopping anytime something looked kool to me.

Definitely doing that more often! Highly recommended activity if you can blast music in your ears at midnight while out and about in the city without fearing for your life 😅.

~The Single Line Collection~

My goal with the collection was to see how creative I could get with a single continuous line of stitching. I also implemented this specific concept to to make the 1of1 creation process for the collection more efficient so that I could offer the pies at a more financially accessible price.

~Five Years~

It’s been quite the journey since this pic was taken! Let me first start by saying that I just got back from Trader Joe’s where I spent 15-20 mins looking for a kosher/vegan bubbly with no success, but I did get you that unsalted grass-fed butter! I tried lol!

Anyway, I just want you to know that I appreciate you. Your support, your love, your patience, and even your attempt at learning how to twerk 😂. The past 5 years have taught me a lot and those lessons would not have been learned without you. To more life and more lessons 🥂

I’m only posting this because I know you love when I post things ❤️ I’ll see you at home. Can’t wait to go back to Switzerland with you! I love you

~The Serpent~

"The Serpent" design was my response to the feedback I received on a previous design which was meant to be abstract. When made aware that the design somewhat ressembled a snake I immediately took to designing a piece that incorporated a more literal snake. I then named it something a bit more a bit more fitting to oxblood creations, "The Serpent".

got his personalized Bamboo Crew! I hope he enjoys his 1 of 1 as much as I enjoyed the process of creating it for him!

This is the first personalized piece I’ve made and am super content with the way it turned out! Being an abstract artist himself, I knew Maclin would appreciate the approach I took in creating the pattern I did. It’s basically an abbreviated version of the doodles I like to draw. What I feel makes it work is the space between the lines.
