Nature has this subtle way of sharing its wisdom. While I was spending a couple of days surrounded by trees, water and the sounds of birds chirping, I started seeing things that were not only beautiful but also a beautiful metaphor of life’s biggest lessons. Among all the trees, this one caught my attention.
It curved in such a unique way, creating a natural arch that seemed almost too perfect, unless what we are used of seeing.
Because I have this ridiculous habit of drawing life lessons out of everything that catches my eyes, I started thinking why is this particular tree could bend that way. Who knows, right? We are so used to expect life to be like a forest, our progression always growing up, defying gravity. But what is sometimes life invites us to grow smaller branches and to grow in unexpected ways. Sometimes the beauty is in letting life guide us toward the uncommon and unexpected, curving our destiny that refuses to move in a straight line. And that is beautiful too!
Maybe things that are meant to break us are a blessing that allow us to become what we never expected, like tree who chooses to arch in the most beautiful way.
Thanks nature for another beautiful sight that became a good reminder of how life is worth living.

We are always so afraid of change because it is unfamiliar and we humans love predictability.
Change might be brought by unexpected circumstances and sometimes is driven by an inner discomfort.
Regardless of the reason, change can become your ally. Change is not the same as transformation. The first one is only a variation on the circumstances. The second one, brings you closer to your becoming, to living your most authentic life.
So, if chance is in the horizon, be brave and embrace it.
Ask yourself what you can learn from it and embrace where it can take you ✨

Are you tired of breaking your New Year’s resolutions?
Resolutions don’t last.
Clarity of goals does not translate in success if there is misalignment between what we want to achieve and what our soul truly desires. Grit can make us advance, but does not guarantee fulfillment.
Instead of a list, start the year by answering these questions and you’ll have a year full@of growth and expansion.

New York City never disappoints! I always tell my students that the camera has an extraordinary value because it gives power to anything we put our attention to. Very much like our thoughts that amplify everything we focus on.
The difference is that photography allows us to notice the transitory nature of life, while thoughts tend to grow roots and stay there until we vanish them.
The camera also allows us to merge the outer and inner world in such a beautiful way. Even when less interpretative than painting or music, photography holds the power to tell us where someone looks, what catches their attention and what matters to them.
New York, as iconic and stereotyped in movies and tv shows, is never the same; it is a version stuck in the past and at the same time, ever evolving.
It is always a treat to intentionally catch glimpses of its beauty.
