"Being gay and disabled is a unique experience that comes with its own set of challenges. As my disabilities progressed, I thought I would never play sports again.. When I found sled hockey, my world opened back up but when I found the Para Pride Team, it expanded beyond what I thought was possible. This is the most inclusive (and gayest) team I’ve ever been on and I’m PROUD of it. It’s nothing but love, support, and expressing your individuality."
