"Growing up in the Pocono Mountains and moving to New York City has especially made me become more appreciative of the outdoors. Whenever I come back home to visit, I like to experience my outer peace by going on runs in one of our many parks, or going on a hike with my friends up the mountain. There’s something special about driving back home to PA and being surrounded by all of the nature and fresh air. It’s such a relieving and peaceful change from the bustling and fast-paced city, and it’s even more comforting that it’s a place that feels like home. Whenever I’m not able to come home, a run or bike ride at Central Park or East River Park is another way for me to experience some natural peace amidst the city."
