$1.5 million. 3,000 more kids learning to swim.
This morning at Lehman College, 21 Wave Makers students hit the water for a free lesson celebrating the New York City Council’s $1.5 million investment in Wave Makers this fiscal year.
That funding means 58,500 more swim lessons for public school second-graders across all five boroughs.
