Long Island waves

LI Waves 12u went 4-0 this weekend in the Dan Trant tournament. Takes a while for a new team to come together but all these girls are buying into the fundamentals of the program. They are all coachable and great kids. We wont count medals or T-shirts here as our measure of success but rather there continued success in development but I’d say this group earned this shout out !!!

Waves 12 u headed to the Bronx today for the zero gravity Easter Day challenge. Girls played hard against some good competition and got a split 1-1 on the day.

The Long Island Waves basketball program officially kicks off today with the 12 u playing in the prep girls northeast kickoff. It’s been a lot of fun but work getting this thing together and finally come to reality. Over 30 girls , and 3 teams in the program to start , here we are. I could not have done this without the support from my wife and kids, thank you so much for supporting me and believing in me . A special thank you to Rich and taleen krug , Dave hudzik, and especially my dad none of this is possible without him introducing me to this game ( didht have a choice lol) there was no one better to learn this game from then him , a nj high school coaches hall of fame inductee , a true teacher of the game he loves nothing better then a good motion offense and players that play defense like a bunch of junk yard dogs and that’s what I’ll teach every player that comes through this program and to be Coachable !!!!!
