Capt Pete called into the office this morning to say that last night's 630pm night chunking trip was the best trip of the season so far as the blues were very hungry last night .. unfortunately the unpredicted east wind came up around 10pm and shut the bite down . A very large body has moved into the area and its only going to get better.... We will have two boats sailing tonight 6:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. one boat will be for night time chunking striped bass and bluefish and the other boat will be night time porgy fishing

Every Thursday starting this week will be in 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. fluke trip

Starting this Thursday 6/12 we will be doing full day fluke trips on Thursdays only from 8am-3pm those tickets are available online as well

This Friday 6/13 Capt Pete will be running a special Diamond Jigging trip for bluefish at 8am on the 76' IC3 these tickets will be available online tomorrow morning or call to reserve 917-417-7557

Captain Pete reported last night had steady action on the Bluefish and Striped Bass chunking. We will be sailing tonight with two boats – one boat will be targeting Striped Bass and Bluefish at 6:30 PM and our other boat will be targeting nighttime Porgies at 6:30 PM. As always, Captain Chris strongly encourages advanced reservations through our website at islandcurrent.com. However, walk-ons are always welcomed and looks to be a very fun filled night of catching.
