Welcome to Hallett, one of the last family-owned racetracks in America. This is where grassroots racing begins and thrives — where first-time drivers, weekend warriors, and lifelong racers all share the same piece of asphalt.
From stormy Oklahoma skies to wheel-to-wheel battles, Hallett Motor Racing Circuit is more than a racetrack — it’s a community built on passion, tradition, and pure racing spirit.

A 68-year-old grandfather.
A 20-something living in his parents’ garage.
They shouldn’t work as teammates.
But together… they might be one of the most dangerous duos in Spec Miata.
Different generations.
Different lives.
Same addiction.

Last-Lap Drama! 😳 SRF3 at Road Atlanta

If you ain't rubbin' you ain't racing! And nothing is more true than in SCCA Spec Racer Ford. Two 19-year-olds. One podium spot. One final-lap move.
On the last lap of the SRF3 race at Road Atlanta, rising talents Tyler Stephens and Evan Slater made contact heading into Turn 10a—sending Slater into the gravel while Stephens held on to secure the final step of the podium.
After the checkered flag, both drivers agreed it was a racing incident—a perfect example of the hard-fought but respectful competition that defines Sports Car Club of America racing.
This is why Spec Racer Ford is one of the most exciting classes in amateur motorsport—equal cars, razor-thin margins, and pure racecraft.

Welcome to one of the most intense races of the weekend at Road Atlanta—the Spec Racer Ford (SRF3) Sunday feature race from the SCCA Hoosier Super Tour.
Racing 25 minutes in wet, slippery conditions, this race had all the ingredients for chaos…

Youth vs experience. Teammates vs veteran. Grip vs survival.
This is grassroots racing at its finest:
No shortcuts. No excuses. Just drivers pushing the limit.

Last weekend the SCCA Hoosier Super Tour brought one of the largest Spec Miata fields of the season to Road Atlanta — more than 50 identical race cars taking the green flag.
With every driver in the same machine, talent, racecraft, and race strategy become the difference. The result? Tight packs, constant battles, and one of the most intense starts you’ll see in grassroots racing. Welcome to spec racing at its purest.
