Gio “Baby G” Monroy is Ohio bound!

Currently ranked in the Top 10, Baby G is heading to Ohio to compete at the USA Boxing Nationals, and behind every step of this journey is a proud father, a dedicated team, and a whole lot of hard work.

In this video, Baby G’s dad and Assistant Coach Gary Monroy talks about why he is so proud of his son. The bond between a father and son is something special, but what makes Baby G’s journey even more meaningful is the family he has built around him at MVJ Athletics.

Gio trains at MVJ Athletics, located inside Jack’s Gym, under Professor Greg Pritchett and Coach Rashad Brown — two coaches who look at Baby G like a nephew and have a bond with him that goes far beyond boxing.

This is what a team is supposed to be. Fathers, coaches, fighters and teammates pushing each other, believing in each other, and growing together.

Now it’s time to represent.

Levi “Too Fly” Brown has been watching his father, Rashad Brown, for years — learning what it means to fight, to work, and to carry a legacy. Now, that little boy looking up to his dad is building a legacy of his own. 🥊

Levi is addicted to winning. For the last two years, he has been the number 1 ranked kid in his division, and when USA Boxing moved him up into the next age group a few years ago, he didn’t back down from the challenge.

Now he’s challenging himself again — moving up to 75 lbs. Bigger opponents. Bigger challenges. Same mindset.

Focused. Disciplined. Motivated.

Levi trains at MVJ Athletics at Jack’s Gym under the watchful eye of his father, Rashad Brown, and Professor Greg Pritchett. The goal isn’t just to win today — it’s to build something that lasts.
