Newark Summer Camp

Dear American Karate Studios and Newark Summer Camp Families,
We have been unable to get a sufficient mix of qualified and committed summer camp employees. We would never want to promise something we cannot deliver, nor have a less-than-awesome camp. We have made the difficult decision to cancel Summer Camp for this year. We wanted to give everyone notice in time for those working parents who had relied on us during the summer to procure child care of some form.
Should our circumstances suddenly change to where we could possibly offer some weeks of camp this year, we will let everyone know! Thank you for your past support.

We had the BEST end to the last week with dance party, a visit from Tri-State Bird Rescue, Nerf Battle, and the WATER PARTY!! We’d also like to give a big thank you to the kids and parents for all the AMAZING and DELICIOUS goodies you brought for the staff, it was much appreciated❤️ Your kids are the absolute BEST KIDS and we thank you for sending them to American Karate Studios Summer Camp🥋💕We hope that everyone has a safe and wonderful rest of the year!! WE DID IT!!😱🥳🎊🎈🎉🎉🎉

This final week started off amazing!! We are sad pool days are over for this summer, but we still had the best time💦🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️💕💕 We’ve also seen some artist at work during arts and crafts, we’re really impressed with how well they did😁❤️❤️ Only TWO MORE DAYS🤯😱 Don’t forget to bring nerf guns for Thursday (tomorrow), and 💦water pistols💦 for the LAST DAY on FRIDAY!!!

A great end to the 9th week!! Dance party was a success and the crafts and games were super fun! We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and we hope to see your kids on the LAST WEEK OF CAMP next week!!!🪩😁🎉🥳🎈🎊

A big thanks to the Newark Fire Department for coming out and teaching us all about how to be safe in a fire!! Everyone got a chance to spray the hose and act as a real firefighter too!!!💦💦🧯🔥

Week 7 of camp comes to a close today! Everyone had an amazing time at the pool, dressing in their pjs, playing a nerf war, and dancing our hearts out!! We hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend!! Don’t forget about our picnic on Sunday‼️‼️☺️🧺🍔🌭🌳🥳🎉🎊

This weeks arts and crafts were some of the best! Everyone is starting to feel like real pirates😁🏴‍☠️🗺️❤️ Our pirates even had a treasure hunt to find some special gems!!💎💎💎

Despite the rain, we were able to get in the pool and have some fun!! These campers also had a blast making their own personal map in art😁🏴‍☠️🗺️💦
