🇺🇦 What is that symbol you might ask?

Nadiia Sadowski of https://novakohovka.life requested it be used, as it’s such an important symbol to Ukraine but for those that may not be familiar:

The Ukrainian trident (tryzub) has a long history extending back to the 10th-12th century but is also a symbol of a modern country. After 70 years of Soviet rule, when the trident was called nationalistic and banned, it’s now official and widely used again.

Since the days of the Ukrainian People’s Republic, the trident (tryzub) has become an important symbol for those who fought for Ukraine’s independence 100 years ago and those who protect it now.

Window signs available for FREE local pickup with any amount donation, or purchase at our shop (which in itself is a donation!). Just DM if you would like one…!

Many of us are feeling helpless witnessing Putin’s attack on the people of Ukraine. Some of you may know my friend Jarred Sadowski — a NBPT native & international photographer whose parents owned Port Sheet Metal, a local institution until they retired, which was an invaluable resource for our Joppa Design Inc projects.

You may not know that Jarred’s wife Nadiia is from Nova Kakhovka, Ukraine, which has been occupied by Russian military since Feb 24th. Putin is continually bombing the surrounding towns and many are running out of food, water & medicine.

International relief orgs are great but can take weeks to reach villages & cities throughout Ukraine due to Russian military not allowing much movement. Jarred and his wife Nadiia has put together a way to get money directly in the hands of some of those on the ground who need it.

Proceeds from these designs will go directly to Jarred & Nadiia, and then directly to the group of volunteers they are in communication with daily around Nova Kakhovka in southern Ukraine. As of March 7 they have been able to transfer $7,000 to Nadiia’s Ukrainian bank which was distributed to volunteers accounts to help purchase/deliver food, medicine & water to people in the area.
