There’s a moment most families recognize.
When Google searches aren’t helping.
Advice from friends conflicts.
And every option feels like a guess.
That’s usually when it’s time for a conversation, not more information.
Our consultation calls are designed for that exact moment:
when things feel unclear, urgent, or just…heavy.
Sometimes clarity doesn’t come from doing more, it comes from talking it through with someone who knows the path.
If you’re in that moment, you don’t have to stay there. 📞 Schedule a call at https://loom.ly/kkQ1l7M

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our Newburyport continuing education course, "My Loved One Has Dementia, Now What?"
💜 Owner Rhiannon Stare, RN, CMC had the opportunity to lead this class focusing on helping families and community members better understand a dementia diagnosis and how to support their loved ones through the journey.
Receiving a dementia diagnosis can trigger fear, uncertainty, and overwhelm, not only for the individual, but for the entire family.
Through education, compassion, and open conversation, Rhiannon shares guidance on understanding dementia, improving communication, reducing stress and frustration, and finding meaningful ways to support quality of life.
We believe that when families are given education and support, they feel more empowered, connected, and confident navigating the challenges of aging and caregiving.

Earlier this month, our team stepped away from the day-to-day to focus on something equally important: caring for the caregivers. 💚
We gathered for a team retreat centered on rest, renewal, and reflection, because the work of supporting clients and families is deeply meaningful, but it also requires intention around wellness and sustainability.
Hosted at Repose Yoga, a space that has been meaningful to Rhiannon for many years, the retreat was facilitated by Cathy Sullivan of Wellness Together and included a restorative sound bath meditation led by Betsey Salsman of Satya Soul.
Supporting others starts with making space to recharge ourselves, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to reconnect as a team and return to our work grounded and renewed.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and in elder care, this conversation matters more than ever.
Caregivers often carry a quiet weight: managing appointments, making decisions, and holding everything together for someone they love. Over time, that stress can build into burnout, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion.
Older adults face their own challenges too: loneliness, loss of independence, and cognitive changes can all impact mental well-being.
A few reminders:
• Caregiving is emotional work and your feelings are valid
• Support is not a luxury, it’s essential
• Small moments of rest and connection matter
Taking care of mental health isn’t separate from care. It is care.
If you or someone you love is struggling, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Support, conversation, and guidance can make all the difference.

Alzheimer’s affects more than memory. It impacts entire families.
That’s why our team is participating in the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s®.
