Carl Malz On Jig Fishing

“Most fishermen when using a jig, will cast it out, let it sink to the bottom and then retrieve it in a series of retrieves ranging from little or no movement to a hop, skip and jump motion. Each fisherman has his own particular style of retrieve and most will produce fish at one time or an-other. But the exceptional fisherman goes far beyond that. He knows that a certain type of wiggle (or action) is not the factor which will put more fish into the boat. Once he establishes the speed at which he wishes to fish — either fast or slow - the ‘wiggle’ or action is no longer a prime factor in his thinking. What is the prime factor? How is the jig used as a tool?

Good morning crackheads!! Just wanted to talk to you all a little bit. I think everybody here knows at least some of my history and past. For years I battled with drug addiction and the law. I owe my turnaround and Recovery to my passion for fishing and the fishing community. My buddy matt in particular help relight my passion for fishing. This was many years ago I was down and out getting high whenever I can but I was still fishing. I was new to fishing the River and was extremely frustrated on how to catch these fish. This man took it upon himself without knowing anything about me reached out to me when I was asking for help. He showed me the ropes on fishing the Niagara River and I'll always be grateful to him for that. Anyways like i was saying fishing and the fishing community helped turn my life around. Took a long time but I stopped using drugs and getting into all this trouble and focused on fishing. And turning my life around. Yesterday i busted my ass completing a rush order and lost work time to deliver it. Some people might say 100%loss no gain. In my eyes though 100% gain. I did my part in helping and serving my fishing community who helped me defeat my drug addiction and turn my life around. Fishing and the fishing community without a shadow of a doubt either saved my f****** life or kept me out of prison maybe even both . So no loss in my eyes, its 100% gain and a small thank you to my passion for fishing and the fishing community 🙏🙏🙏. Sorry for my rambling Tight lines and thank you!!! 🎣🎣🎣

I'm still new at making jigging spoons but this is got to be the fastest I pumped them out. They'll be available bright and early top parking lot at the platform for you guys. There's only 18 of them so get them while they're hot they go quick 🎣🎣🎣

That's just a couple minutes under a flashlight. The proper way to fish glow lures is the charge them with bright light before you go fishing
