๐ When was the last time you actually made YOURSELF a priority?
Not your kids.
Not your spouse.
Not your job.
Not the errands, appointments, laundry, or the hundred other things that need your attention.
You.
Somewhere along the way, a lot of us get really good at taking care of everyone elseโฆand slowly get used to putting ourselves at the bottom of the list.
You tell yourself:
โIโll start when work slows down.โ
โIโll start after the kidsโ season is over.โ
โIโll start after vacation.โ
โIโll focus on me when things calm down.โ
But when exactly is that going to happen?
Life probably isnโt going to suddenly hand you an empty calendar and tell you itโs finally your turn.
At some point, you have to decide that your health deserves a place on the calendar too.
And that isnโt selfish.
Taking care of yourself can mean having more energy for your family. Being strong enough to travel, hike, play with your kids or grandkids, work in the yard, go out with friends, and continue doing the things you love for years to come.
And you donโt have to completely change your life.
๐ช Start with a few workouts each week.
๐ถ Walk a little more.
๐ฅ Improve a couple of nutrition habits.
๐ Focus on consistencyโnot perfection.
Small things done consistently can completely change where you are a year from now.
So maybe itโs finally time.
Your health matters.
Your strength matters.
Your energy matters.
Your confidence matters.
YOU matter. ๐
Maybe itโs finally time to start showing up for yourself, too.
