May Highlights🥎

May was a busy month for our Impact girls - filled with hard work, competition, celebrations, and some big accomplishments along the way.

The girls continued putting in work at practice week after week and competed in the Top Flight Diamond Divas tournament a couple of weekends ago. Between the reps, the energy, and the competitiveness, this group continues to push each other to get better every time they step on the field.

Outside of competition, we celebrated our May birthdays, recognized our amazing Impact moms on Mother’s Day, and celebrated Coach Gracie and her graduation milestone.

We also had the opportunity to recognize several of our Impact girls who earned spots on their high school softball teams for Fall 2026 — huge accomplishments and very well deserved! And we're not done yet... more celebrations are still to come.

Proud of this group of girls and all the work they continue to put in, and excited to keep building momentum as we head into the next few months and prepare to face some of the toughest competition of our season.

Practice Highlights

Another productive night of work focused on fundamentals and defensive reps.

Thursday’s practice included:

- USA Bucket Drill
- Posture Walk
- Backhand Rhythm
- Chaos Catcher Drill
- Hoosier Drill
- Infield & Outfield Fungo Reps
- Front Toss Competition

Lots of reps, lots of learning, and lots of growth.

Practice Highlights

A weeks worth of practices and our focus was on:

✔️ Defensive communication
✔️ Bunt coverages & situational awareness
✔️ Aggressive baserunning
✔️ Relays/cuts & outfield leadership
✔️ Double plays
✔️ Live hitting under pressure

From Hoosier drills and pickle work to bunt situations, relay ex*****on, first-and-third defense, and live at-bats, every rep mattered. The girls were challenged to think ahead, communicate early, react quickly, and finish plays with confidence.

The intensity, energy, and attention to detail continue to grow every week…and so does this team.
