SOPA is proudly cheering on Miss Georgia, Sophia Wootten in tonight's Miss America Pageant! Sophia starred as Ariel in SOPA's production of the Little Mermaid and as Miss Honey in our production of Matilda. We are beyond proud of her! SOPA fam: help us wish her all the luck!

Our beloved Music Together classes are back at SOPA! These classes are not only FUN for everyone, but also packed with research-based education that support your child in SO many ways!

Music Together classes offer a wide range of benefits for children, including enhanced cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. It fosters creativity, self-expression, and confidence while also strengthening the bond between children and their caregivers. Additionally, it supports language development, emergent literacy, and approaches to learning.

So let's come together to learn and play musically at SOPA this fall with the Bongos Song collection! Each week your family will enjoy activities especially created for young children, led by our Registered Teachers who inspires everyone to join in the fun 🎶

Mark your calendars NOW! SOPA’s Home Alone Holiday Recital will be one for the record books, and you will NOT want to miss it!

As always, our holiday recitals are optional, but we assume your student is participating unless we receive written notice from you by our recital deadline. If you need to opt out, make sure you email Ms. Laell at [email protected] before September 20th!

Our Performance Inclusion class is back and ready to support your little movers & shakers!

This is a Specialized Class that SOPA offers, to not only empower the neurodivergent, but also promote an inclusive environment for all of our community's children. The pace of this class suits exceptional students who are on the spectrum, have learning disabilities, or behaviorally need a little more one on one support with the following:
- Structure
- Independence
- Social skills/Peer interaction
- Balance and Rhythm

This class is led by Ms. Amanda & Ms. Lindsey J., both State Certified Special Education professionals. They will be working with your student to perform independently with SOPA!

Our SOPA Inclusion Performance class will start September 21st at 6pm. Inquire today by emailing [email protected]!

Calling all homeschool kids who need to put that creativity into practice! SOPA's new Homeschool Sewing class is just for you!

In this class for ages 8 and up, you'll learn beginner sewing skills including how to use a sewing machine, fabric selection, and making several sewing projects from headbands to aprons and beyond!

**Students will need to provide: Straight pins (long pins with ball ends) and pin cushion OR quilting clips, seam ripper, flexible measuring tape, a writing utensil, pocket folder or three-ring binder to hold paper materials -- We take care of the rest!

Homeschool just got a lot more fun! SOPA is thrilled to offer new classes, specifically for students who are homeschooled!

In this high energy class, students will have an introduction to various hip-hop styles. They will practice basic elements of hip-hop while working on footwork, floorwork, freestyle, and tumbling. This is a great opportunity for their dance personality to shine! ** This class will not perform in the holiday recital.
