Join us for our Dance Team Prep classes this summer!

This class is targeted for students who are currently on or trying out for a middle school or high school dance team. Dancers will focus on leaps and turns associated with middle school, high school, and college dance teams. Students will also learn pom technique and pom combos. In addition, students who are not currently on a dance team will learn skills to prepare for try outs.

So whether you are already on a school dance team or you hope to be someday soon, this is a class you won't want to miss!

Are you looking for a fun indoor activity with your toddler? Are you looking to meet other moms and parents in the area? Then join our Parent & Tot classes at SOPA!

Our Parent & Tot dance classes are a fun introduction to ballet and jazz technique in a warm and creative environment using story time, props, and dress up costumes (provided by the studio) to make each class a magical experience. It's so much fun for your tiny dancer and for parents alike!

This time FIVE years ago, we were getting ready to move into our amazing studio at 36 Madison Street! Coming from a one-room studio, our new three-room studio felt absolutely MASSIVE!

Fast forward five years, countless classes, and tons of students later.... and we are simply out of room (if you've ever been to our studio in the afternoons, you know exactly what we mean). To better accommodate our growing classes and our growing students, there's only one thing to do.

It's time to move AGAIN. 🩵

Coming this fall, our new address will be 17 Jefferson Street (yep, that's the old toy store building). And we could not be more excited!

Aerial silks, juggling, tumbling, OH MY! Come one, come all to the greatest show in Newnan!! 🎪

We are so excited to introduce this creative new circus class in a fun weekly camp style. Campers will work on their circus and tumbling skills, design their own crafts under the big top, and make all of the magical memories! Snacks will be provided but campers will need to bring a labeled water bottle and a lunch. All eyes will be on the ring on the last day of camp when parents watch their little circus stars shine in a mini showcase!

Calling all Master Jedis and young Padawans!

​We have received an urgent message from Yoda that all Jedi are to meet at Steppin’ Out this summer to join the Galactic Acting Academy! We will convene together to practice our light saber skills, create galactic crafts & lego inventions, eat snacks and most importantly work together to fight the dark side. Snacks will be provided but each Jedi will need to bring a labeled water bottle and lunch. The force will be with everyone on the last day of camp when our actors perform their stellar showcase for families!

Wickedly Wonderful Musical Theatre Camp for ages 6-10
Let your budding Broadway star shine this summer in our Wicked inspired musical theatre camp! Your performer will be so “Popular” as they “Dance Through Life” at SOPA, enjoying songs, dance, acting, crafts and much more! The afternoon will be full of fun and creative activities such as Glinda’s Glam School of Fashion & Design & S**z Cosmetology Academy. Snacks will be provided, but students will need to bring a labeled water bottle and lunch. Family and friends can watch their performer “Defy Gravity” in an entertaining show on the final day of camp!

Wickedly Wonderful Dance Camp for ages 3-6
Join us in the Emerald City this summer as your little dancer finds their inner Glinda & Elphaba! Campers will twirl into daily dance and tumble classes, create OZtastic inspired crafts and have a terrific time of dress-up & fun. Snacks will be provided but campers will need to bring a labeled water bottle and a lunch. Parents are invited to a phenomenal performance on the last day of camp. Campers will be “Dancing Through Life” all week long!
