After leading the Shinshu Brave Warriors to a dominant regular season and the B2 Eastern Conference Championship, Michael Katsuhisa has been named the Asia-Basket.com B2 Coach of the Year.

The award is the latest chapter in an incredible run with Shinshu, where Michael helped build the organization into a consistent contender and now an B Premier club. His final season at the helm was a fitting finish, a conference title, a record-setting campaign, and now Coach of the Year honors.

A well-deserved recognition for one of the game's top basketball minds.

Kenny Benedict is headed to one of the biggest stages in international basketball.

The Japanese standout has been selected to Team World for the prestigious Adidas Eurocamp in Treviso, Italy, earning the opportunity to compete alongside and against many of the top prospects from around the globe.

Widely regarded as the premier pre-draft event outside the United States, Adidas Eurocamp serves as a gathering place for the basketball world’s top decision-makers. Last year’s event featured representation from all 30 NBA teams, more than 80 NBA front office executives and scouts, 50 NBA agents, leading European clubs, scouting services, and global media outlets.

Another step forward for Kenny as he continues to gain momentum and now another big chance to showcase his game in front of key decision makers.

Zid Powell turned heads everywhere he played this season.

After putting together a monster run in Cyprus with 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists per game, he carried that momentum into Hungary where he continued to produce at a high level, averaging 19 points and 5 assists a night.

Whether it was taking over games as a scorer, creating for others, or delivering in big moments, Zid consistently showed why he’s one of the most intriguing guards on the market right now.

A major season from start to finish, and one that firmly put him on the radar heading into free agency.

Mouhamed Mbaye’s journey has taken him from Senegal to the United States, and now to Taiwan, where the 6’10 forward continues to emerge as one of the rising talents in the Asian basketball scene.

His size, mobility, and versatility have continued to draw attention across multiple markets globally, while his performances in EASL competition this season further showed his ability to produce against high-level competition from across Asia.

Mike Hughes made his mark in Germany from the moment he stepped on the floor this season. With his physical presence, relentless motor, and consistency on both ends of the court, his impact was impossible to ignore night after night.

From controlling the glass and protecting the rim to making winning plays in key moments, Mike quickly established himself as one of the most dominant players in the league and one of the most sought-after players on the market.

His season in Germany was a statement. Now, the next chapter begins.

Mike now heads to the CEBL this summer to join Montréal Alliance, with his first game tipping off tomorrow. 🇨🇦
