The dynamic Japanese guard has signed with Selene Bodons after drawing heavy interest following his standout performance at The Asian Tournament.

After competing in Japan, Roman now begins a new chapter abroad as he looks to make his mark across Asia and help the Bodons compete for championships.

Carlos Jürgens is headed back to Estonia, signing with 15x Estonian champions Bigbank/Kalev.

Carlos will also get the chance to compete on the European stage, with Kalev taking part in FIBA Europe Cup action this season.

The last time Carlos played professionally at home, he made his mark, knocking down nearly 44% of his threes.

🇧🇸 Jaydian Smith is officially a pro.

After an impressive collegiate career at UCH, the 6’8” Bahamian big man will stay in Taiwan 🇹🇼 for the next chapter, signing with Bank of Taiwan to begin his professional career.

Some stories are better told by the person who lived them.

This week, Emmanuel Malou announced his retirement from professional basketball.

Alongside his announcement, he shared a series of photos looking back on the journey that basketball took him on. From South Sudan to Australia, the United States, Indonesia and beyond, each photo represents a chapter of his life.

Instead of trying to tell that story ourselves, we wanted to share a few of the moments Manny reflected on.

They capture the excitement of discovering the game, the sacrifices behind the scenes, the setbacks that tested him, and the opportunities basketball created that once felt impossible.

They also remind us that a career isn’t only measured by the teams you play for or the trophies you win. It’s measured by the people you impact along the way.

Manny’s journey helped inspire a generation of South Sudanese players and came during a period that saw South Sudan establish itself on the international stage, eventually qualifying for the Olympic Games. To have played a part in that story is something he should always be proud of.

At Tré Sports Management, we’ve been fortunate to represent Manny during his career.

What we’ll remember most isn’t the basketball, it’s who he is as a person. The professionalism, the humility, the resilience. The way he treated teammates, coaches and everyone around him.

Manny has always represented himself, his family and his communities with class, and it’s been an honor to be a small part of his journey.

After concluding his rookie season with Shinshu, where the club captured the B2 East Division title, Jion Fukushima is set to join Earthfriends Tokyo Z for Year 2 of his professional career.

A dynamic guard with plenty of potential, Jion now heads into a great opportunity to continue his development and make his mark. It’s go time 😈

After a strong rookie season, Tyson Leitao is headed back to Germany.

Tyson has signed with SC Rist Wedel and will also be part of the BBL club, Hamburg Towers, giving him the opportunity to continue his development within one of Germany’s top professional basketball environments. 😈

At 6’7”, Troy brings NBA experience from time with the Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets, New York Knicks, New Orleans Pelicans, and Sacramento Kings. In addition, he’s built a professional career that has taken him across the globe with stops in Italy, Taiwan, the Philippines, Venezuela, and Mexico.

A versatile talent who impacts the game on both ends of the floor, Troy has competed at the highest levels.
