I've been thinking about the things one might do if they knew this was their last day. Some may choose to do something good that will last, their legacy.
Mostly, I've been thinking about how reasonable one should be in their expectations. And maybe disregard those lofty dreams that you could do something more than just helping your family if we are so lucky to even do that, but to help other families as well or hell people you don't know who love what you love. What if you could create wealth for your peers and careers after they finished what they love in the field of what they love?
Wow for someone to do that who may be so inclined would be the ultimate parting gift.
And then now as I read this Letter of Intent, tears stream down my face.
This didn't happen without you Lane.
Thank you, Lane Frost, what a gift you gave your friends on your last day.
