Newport Harbor Lawn Bowling Club put up 21 state flags today in preparation for Open House on May 11 and 18. In these 2 photos 20 of them are visible. Can you name them all. And why only these state flags?

Spring Day Lawn Bowling

Spring Day Lawn Bowling was enjoyed by 20 + people partaking in sandwiches and ice cream sundaes on a fabulous spring day on the green. Bowling competition was held, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners received prizes. In addition, there was a Ladies Spring Hat competition. A few extra’s non-bowling attendees were there to enjoy and cheer on the competition.

Rory Alexander, age 9 had an amazing day lawn bowling and was on the second-place team. She is a 6th grade student at Newport Coast Elementary. Diane Wenzel, Board Member, was the winner of the Ladies Hat Contest and received a gift card donated by Bello by Sandro Nardone in Newport Beach. The event was organized and run by Board Member, Aileen Broccardo.
