Hey kids! Be part of the action!

Join us for a fun community celebration as Newport News Parks and Recreation teams up with Christopher Newport University's Men’s Soccer for an exciting night at Captains' Field. This event highlights the spirit and dedication of our Parks and Recreation soccer kids while bringing families together to cheer on the Captains in a high-energy matchup.

Free admission! Wednesday, September 30, at 7 p.m. at the CNU soccer field on Prince Drew Blvd. in Newport News. Parking is available in lots E4 and 11. Campus map available at cnu.edu/parking.

Arrive no later than 6:30 p.m. for a chance to be selected for special game day experiences, including walking out with the team, serving as a ball kid, taking the field at halftime, or meeting the players and coaches. These opportunities are limited, so arriving early gives kids their best chance at being chosen. Children of all ages may participate. Ball kids must be at least 10 years old. The first 150 children in attendance will receive a free size 4 soccer ball.

Show your support for both our hometown youth and the Captains as we celebrate soccer, community pride, and Newport News Parks and Recreation. Don't miss the fun and the opportunity to Belong, Play, and Thrive!
