Valarie is a strong believer in giving back to the community and has served hers in many capacities; as a former Girl Scout Leader, Church Administrator, Captain of a Relay for Life Team, and Habitat for Humanity volunteer. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, scrapbooking, bowling and reading. Valarie is married to a Retired Newport News Police Officer and they have one son.
