As many of you know, I serve in the United States Air Force.
After 22 years of service, I’ll be deploying once again. It’s never easy stepping away from the shop, especially knowing we’ll be a man down while I’m gone.
That said, I’ve got a solid team here, and I know they’ll continue to take care of our customers the right way.

I don’t usually post about my family online, but today I’m making an exception.
Some of you may not know this, but I’m a father. I normally keep that part of my life private.
A few years ago, my daughter and I started a homemade storytelling game—just a binder, some dice, rough sketches, and imagination.
Most parent-kid projects last an afternoon.
Ours lasted years.
My daughter created a character named Moonlight who is a fox girl that is also a magical baker and we built a strange little world of adventures. Every time we played, the story grew bigger.
Eventually we realized something…
This might actually make a book series.
So we turned our game into a real project.
Strange Adventures – Chapter 1 releases on Kindle March 10, 2026 (paperback coming soon).

This classic tandem came into the shop already decent — but we don’t do “decent.” We do dialed. Every bolt checked, bearings serviced, drivetrain tuned, wheels trued, polish brought back to life. Attention to detail from the first wrench turn to the final wipe of polish.
Seeing the customer send me a photo once it made it home — smiling and grateful — that’s the part that makes it all worth it. 🙌

This past week, I had the honor of supporting Chapter VIII of the 2025 Tour as a mechanic. With nearly 90 riders covering over 300 miles to honor fallen officers, I was proud to play a small part in helping to keep the ride going.
This year held extra meaning for me. For over 20 years, my father supported Chapter 8 on this tour, keeping riders rolling year after year. Following in his footsteps, I took on the role this year—doing my best to carry on the standard he set.
I completed 47 repairs along the way, some while in transit between rest stops from the back of my mobile repair van. It wasn’t always easy, but every fix was a way to contribute to something greater than myself.
Though I wasn’t in the saddle, I felt deeply connected to the and those we ride to honor. I’m grateful for the opportunity and look forward to being part of future tours—doing my best to live up to the example my dad left behind.

Introducing... THE WORKS! 😅 I wanted to see how one of our would look outfitted with all our upgrade suggestions, but I was mostly interested in seeing what the final cost would be. With everything listed on the sheet, I was surprised the was only $367.90, only $13 over the original price! Granted I understand that not everyone would need EVERYTHIN listed, but it's nice to see a bicycle be customized with the items you want/need for less than what you would normally pay for the stand alone bike! 😉
