Sail for ALS

It’s been a few weeks since the NE Solo Twin, here are a few pictures from the weekend. Needless to say, we didn’t waste any time putting the trophies to use, first place rum always tastes better!

We’ve been busy preparing the boat for the solo twin this weekend. The race is always super competitive and we are looking forward to seeing how the Olson will do against the fleet.

After a ton of work this spring the Olson is finally in the water. Huge shoutout to team members and for their efforts getting the boat prepared. Time to get some practice in before the first event

We have been ticking jobs off of our list in preparation for the season. Today we got the bottom sanded and we will start painting tomorrow.

Just a few more projects to finish up before we can launch later this month!

The team competed in the sail for hope today hosted by Sail Newport. We saw a wide range of conditions but we managed to stay on top of everything. Huge shoutout to Mary Jen Christian and Alex for their phenomenal crew work.

Had a great time yesterday racing in the c*c round the island race, it was a tough race but we learned a lot about the boat and we are excited for our next lap around the island next Sunday for the Sail For Hope!
