Last week included the inaugural banquet for the Michigan Martial Arts Hall of Fame, session testing at our sibling club Dundee Martial Arts LLC and our own session testing. This week there are no classes and we look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday the 28th for the start of the fall session.

What an honor it was to present a surprise Gup rank certificate to an amazing 92 year old Great Grandmother. Rosann is an inspiration to all. Congratulations to Dmitri and Rosann, and many thanks to our black belt board

When someone says they are too old for martial arts I respectfully disagree. Tonight Ms. Rosann Runyon proved this. At 91 years young, the mother of 11 and grandmother & great grandmother of 50+ jumped in for some black belt form work. Tang Soo!!!

We love our Newport community! ❤️ This summer, Monroe Aspiring Martial Artists is hosting a unified, all-levels Karate class at the Jefferson Recreation Center (5707 Williams Road).

We are bringing everyone together into one premiere time slot from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM to build an unforgettable team dynamic.
