Captain Mike has been fishing off Newport and Portsmouth RI since he was a teenager with his father and brothers. Following his passion for the sea, he started working on ITB Tug and Barge units over 25 years ago, He was promoted to Captain 18 years ago and currently holds a 1600 ton Master of Oceans USCG license, 2nd Mate Unlimited and Unlimited Master of Towing Vessels upon Oceans along with all USCG Safety certificates. The recent edition to the Vessel is a 32-foot BHM custom downeast boat that has been completely retrofitted for comfort. Captain Mikes electronics are all humminbird side scanning technology with radar. The BHM will fish up to six people comfortable to insure everyone has plenty of time enjoying catching an assortment of species. We can pick you up in Newport RI while you're on your vacation or meet us at the dock in Portsmouth RI
Captain Mike takes pride not only in his fishing but the safety aspect of being on the water, All USCG safety equipment is on board and inspected before each charter to ensure the utmost professionalism is obtained. I am proud to announce a 10% discount to all Military personnel. Maximum six anglers to insure plenty of fishing for everyone. Half day charters $800.00 (5 hour)
Full day charters $1400.00 ( 8 hours)
Block Island $1650.00 ( 10-12 hours)
All bait and tackle provided.

What a week, the fluke fishing definitely is a grind, but the guys who put in their time where rewarded. Not with one, but 3 fish over 13lbs and a few good 7-8 lb fish.

Fishbites for the win this year, but key was using our Minn Kota trolling motor paired up with the best mode 36v Solid State Marine battery.
This single battery lasted over 7 days moving my 40ft Osmond beal over ever nook and hole i could find in drift mode.

Humminbird knocked it out of the park with its new VX shaded relief charts.

Thank you everyone who came out fluke fishing this year, we will be slowly switching over to our chisel tooth friends shortly

Fluke season is definitely winding down a bit, lots of shorts but we still manage a few nice big fatties over 7lbs

We had to really work for them the last three days, but when your hunting quality jumbo fluke, hustling really pays off. .
We had numerous fish over 7lbs one day, the next day the fluke disappeared. Then today, we caught around 15 keepers, and the biggest fell to Fishbites !
A 30 inch 13.0 lb monster came over the rail by Michael ftom Brooklyn!!

When the drift died, we use our minkotta trolling motor wired up with our solid state 36v battery to create a drift .
