The Florida Yacht Club Campaign for the NYYC Invitational Cup

The Florida Yacht Club's bid to win a place in the NYYC Invitational Cup. The 2012 NYYC IC U.S. The goals are to run a regatta with premier U.S.

Qualifying Series is an invitational fleet racing regatta to be sailed in one-design keel boats. yacht clubs and to select three teams who will be invited to participate in the NYYC Invitational Cup presented by Rolex to be held in Swan 42 Class yachts in September 2013. This series is the only opportunity for U.S. yacht clubs to earn an invitation to the 2013 NYYC Invitational Cup presented by Rolex.

Race one found the team in eight place after fouling another boat at the start. They made up for that with a bullet in race two, leaving them currently seven points out of a third place position, the threshold for qualifying for next years invitational cup. Race three will begin momentarily with winds gusting ten to fifteen.
