NBSF made a splash at the 2016 Nutmeg Regatta in Milford, CT. Saturday was a lesson in perseverance, fighting current with no wind in an ultimately abandoned race. Sunday started strong with 12-15 knots, tapering to 3-5 knots. Competition was fierce among the three races, with Newport's own fleet captain Dwight Escalera taking home third. 3 of the 20 competitors were women, and 2 of them won trophies, including Newport fleet's Liz Escalera. Stay tuned as next week Dwight and Liz head to Chicago to represent Narragansett Bay at the 2016 North American Championship!
