🥋 KIDS DIVISIONS
• Kids ages 9 and under: exhibition matches only — no winner and no submissions.
• Every athlete will compete in 2 matches: one Gi and one No-Gi.
• Every participating athlete is guaranteed 2 GOLD MEDALS — one for Gi and one for No-Gi!
• Athletes with less than 6 months of training will compete with no submissions.
• Kids ages 10+ with 7 months or more of Jiu-Jitsu experience will compete with submissions allowed.

🔥 ADULT DIVISIONS
We also have spots available for adult White Belts and Blue Belts, both male and female.

🥋 DID YOU KNOW?

Our head instructor brings a lifetime of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — including 16 years as a black belt.

He spent years as a competitive athlete, traveling and competing throughout Brazil, and was developed at Associação Monteiro de Jiu-Jitsu, one of the most respected and traditional Jiu-Jitsu academies in Manaus and Brazil.

His background goes far beyond competition. He holds degrees in Physical Education, including both a teaching degree and a bachelor’s degree, as well as a postgraduate specialization in Exercise Physiology.

He is also an IBJJF-recognized instructor and previously served as the leader of SESC Jiu-Jitsu in Brazil, where he helped develop multiple state and Brazilian champions.

Now, all of that experience, knowledge, and passion is here in Newport, Tennessee, with one mission: to bring high-level, authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to our community.
