AC Connecticut joined the USL’s League Two (formerly PDL) for the 2012 season, becoming the only soccer franchise based in Connecticut. Along with a men’s PDL team, AC Connecticut will work closely with local travel programs and provide the area’s best regional soccer program involving the best local soccer ambassadors and coaches, using the best facilities and focusing on the technical, tactical, physical and psychosocial components of the game to improve our players. Players will have a distinct pathway, through Developmental (U9-U11) – Regional teams (U12 – U19 AC Connecticut) – PDL (Mens AC Connecticut). The USL League Two is seen as a ‘shop window’ for professional clubs looking to discover and identify aspiring professional players who may enter the MLS Super Draft in future years. Many of the players currently playing Major League Soccer and elsewhere began their careers in the PDL when they were competing as an elite college or high school athlete. Over the past three years, 111 players with PDL experience have been drafted in the MLS SuperDraft, which is more than 70 percent of the selections. Connecticut games will showcase the top level of amateur soccer in Connecticut and are the most-exciting and affordable form of family entertainment during the summer months.

✅✅✅✅✅✅✅ The only club in the Northeast to qualify 7️⃣ teams 😤

We’re extremely proud to announce that we have accepted all seven of our invitations to represent the Northeast Division at the USL Youth Finals in Tampa, Florida this December.

U11 Boys
U12 Boys
U12 Girls
U13 Boys
U13 Girls
U15 Boys
U15 Girls

All seven teams won their respective age groups during league play this summer and will join other division winners from across the country at the National Finals this winter.

Well done, teams! Let’s get to work! 👏💪

Congratulations to Pedro Silva of our U14 ECNL Boys for being selected to represent Team East at the first ECNL Spotlight Game of the 2026/27 season.

ECNL Spotlight Games are part of a collaboration between ECNL and the US Club Soccer id2 Program to provide scouting-based identification opportunities for top ECNL players for youth national teams and beyond.

Team East defeated Team West, and Pedro was able to contribute a goal and an assist in the match!
