Ashurst Academy of Irish Dance The Ashurst Academy is a family owned dance school offering classes and camps for beginner through elite, World championship levels.

Voted "Connecticut's Best Dance Studio for Kids," the Ashurst Academy of Irish Dance offers certified instruction from stars of Riverdance & Lord of the Dance in Newtown, Danbury & Southbury | Fairfield & New Haven Counties. Under the direction of the Ashurst Academy, dancers have achieved regional titles, national medals and international success in solos and teams as well as perform for local organizations, charities, world renowned bands and entertainment stars such as the Wiggles. Christina Dolzall-Ashurst (TCRG): Riverdance, Lord of the Dance (lead), All Ireland Top 5 Medalist & Medal Holder, National Medal Holder, 3x New England Champion, BA in Psychology, Certified K-6 Teacher

Ashurst Academy Mission Statement:
At the Ashurst Academy of Irish Dance, our goal is to provide the highest quality instruction in competitive and recreational solo and team dancing while also stressing the importance of fun and fitness. We strive to create an extremely positive and encouraging environment for learning while maintaining structure, discipline and the expectation of hard work. Classes will help students with self-esteem, confidence, balance, stamina, technique, sportsmanship, goal setting, team work ethic and the importance of community with seasonal performances at schools, nursing homes and regional events.
