What a weekend! We kept the momentum rolling from Saturday night into Sunday. Started 2nd in the heat and was about to pick up the heat win. Then redrew the pole for the feature! The boys went to work to get the car right for Tim for the feature. Got the lead early but ultimately finished 2nd to Jayden whoโs be bad fast this year. Nothing to hang our heads on. Canโt complain about a win and a 2nd! Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen.
We set out at the beginning of the year to honor and pay respect to our dear friend Jeff Rohrbaugh and show him how much he impacted everyone involved in this deal. We only did it if, and it only made sense for Tim to drive. Took a little longer than we wanted, but we finally parked the 45 on the front stretch again for Jeff. It was an emotional win for sure, but we know Jeff was there cheering us on! I know Tim and myself(Ant) put a lot of pressure on ourselves because we wanted this bad, and we finally prevailed. Special shout out to Jim Travis and Tanner Laughman with Travis Racing Engines getting this motor ripping again! Thank you to everyone for all the congratulations on Facebook or in person, it means a lot! Also thank you to everyone who bought a shirt! Lindsay said she sold a crap ton of them!
