Softball Families,
Is your daughter showing a passion for softball? Are you interested in joining Southeastern Connecticut's newest and fastest growing softball travel program, the CT Shell Shockers? Our indoor training facility is located in Niantic, CT, and we currently have four fall teams competing in the 10u-14u divisions, composed of girls from more than half a dozen neighboring towns.
This developmental program will be our youngest softball Shell Shockers group and is for girls ages 7-9 years old. It will introduce the basics and fundamentals of softball to your daughter and will include weekly drills and interactive games to work on your child’s balance, eye/hand coordination, and footwork while developing their social skills and self-confidence through team play.
Our main objective is to create a fun and enjoyable experience for all players, regardless of their skill level. We aim to develop their abilities, deepen their understanding of the game, foster good teamwork, and promote sportsmanship.
The fall portion of our developmental program will begin Monday, September 21st and end October 26th (6 weeks). The winter portion of our developmental program, held once a week at The Clubhouse, our indoor training facility, will begin after the New Year and continue through mid April (~12-14 weeks). We will conclude the weekly workouts once Little League season begins so players can focus on their town’s Little League teams.This program will be capped at 16 players!
